The 2018 Nissan Armada

Nissan Armada

After the Nissan Armada got a full redesign last year, the new 2018 Nissan Armada gets new standard equipment. Nissan introduced its new “smart” rearview-mirror technology (I-RVM) three years ago and finally brings it into production as optional feature of its new Armada.

Except for this change we expect that the rest of the car stays mostly the same and just gets a few updates on the infotainment system.

Exterior

On the outside, the only noticeable change might be the new camera for the new, optional, rearview mirror system while the rest stays unchanged. So the new 2018 Nissan Armada will carryover the facelift from 2008 with a slimmer front bumper and the brands signature V-shaped grille.

Interior

On the first look, the interior stays the same with an 8 inch NissanConnect infotainment system with touchscreen, which will get updated, on the main console. Who looks closely, can find a button on the rear view mirror in the highest trim, Platinum, to turn on the optional I-RVM system. There are also a few additional USB ports to be found. The passengers will be seated on nice leather seats with a nice touch and look at the wooden

Pricing and Release

As Nissan haven’t released a final release date yet, we expect the Armada to arrive at the showrooms end of 2017. The 2018 Nissan Armada comes in 3 trim levels: SV, SL and Platinum. The SL gets a Remote Start System, Intelligent Around view Monitor (I-AVM), keyless entry/start, powered 3rd row seats, 20-inch wheels, power liftgate and more on top of the standard equipment. With the Platinum trim, a power sliding panoramic sunroof, family entertainment system, climate controlled front seats and the new Intelligent Rear View Mirror come on top. Four option packages are available with options like auto-dimming rear view mirror, cruise control captain chairs for the 2nd row, forward collision warning and more.
